Mykola Tomenko: Maximum Period of Authorities of Leonid Chernovetsky as Kyiv Mayor Year 2010
"Maximum period of authorities of Leonid Chernovetsky as Kyiv mayor year 2010, stated Mykola Tomenko in the program of Volodymyr Fesenko "P.S.Den´ City" at "City" Channel.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine confirmed the fact that it was currently being discussed whether the Constitutional Court of Ukraine could pass a resolution on postponement of elections of Kyiv mayor for year 2012 in view of the fact that early elections of the mayor had been held in spring 2008, and the period of authorities of a mayor lasted 4 years.
The possibility of such a resolution to be passed to the advantage of Chernovetsy´s team is explained by the possibility of financial influence on the judges of the Constitutional Court. M.Tomenko confirmed the fact that there are talks about the willingness of Chernovetsy´s team to pay twenty million USD for the resolution of the Constitutional Court".
However, Mykola Tomenko precludes such a possibility.
"I am convinced that elections of a mayor will be held not later than spring 2010, as scheduled by effective legislation", - stated M.Tomenko.
